Create a Beforepay account, either through the website or by downloading the app. The Beforepay app is available on Google Play and the App Store. Follow the prompts to complete account setup. This will include verifying your identity and eligibility with valid Australian ID.

Connect your bank account

Connect the bank account(s) where you receive your primary income. Beforepay is compatible with most major banks and financial institutions in Australia. Our system will assess your account to determine your limit as well as disburse any funds.

How do I get a loan with Beforepay?

To get a loan with Beforepay, you must first meet our eligibility criteria to ensure our service is the right fit for you. If eligible, you’ll simply need to create a Beforepay account, connect your primary bank account, and choose your desired loan product. Our system will do the rest. T&Cs apply.

What are Beforepay’s eligibility criteria?

You must: 

  • Be an Australian resident aged 18 or older. 
  • Have a current Australian driver’s licence, passport, or Medicare card. 
  • Maintain employment and receive a wage. 
  • Not earn more than 51% of your total income from Centrelink. 
  • Have no other active Beforepay loans.

What’s the difference between Personal Loan and Pay Advance?

Pay Advance is a short-term loan of up to $2,000 designed to handle sudden or higher-than-normal expenses and is repaid in up to 4 instalments aligned to your pay cycle. Personal Loan is a longer-term loan of up to $5,000 designed for future planned expenses, repaid over 1-12 months.

Why do I need to connect my bank account?

Your bank account needs to be connected in order to set your loan limit, as well as to disburse any funds.
